Horse Accounts

In addition to basic refuse fees, there are additional charges for the keeping of horses due to the hard-to-handle nature of horse waste/manure.

As indicated in the chart of refuse fees, there is currently a charge of $64.15/month for the weekly collection of waste from the first horse. This entitles the customer to two 64-gallon automated refuse containers. For each additional horse kept, there is a charge of $26.81/month. This entitles the customer to the weekly collection of two additional 64-gallon automated refuse containers per horse.

If, instead of using automated containers, a customer wishes to rent a one or two-yard refuse bin for the storage of horse manure, there is an additional charge of $33.00/month for the weekly collection of a one-yard refuse bin or a charge of $45.35/month for the weekly collection of a two-yard refuse bin. For each additional day of collection during the week add $22.63/month.
