Holiday Schedule |
The only holidays which will cause a change in your refuse and recycling collection schedule are Christmas and New Year's Day. During the weeks in which those holidays occur, all collection scheduled for those days or on following days during the same week will be postponed by one day, as indicated below:
New Year's Day - Closed, next day pickup if it falls on a Monday-Friday
Weekdays Following New Year's Day - Next day pickup if pickup was delayed on New Year's Day
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - Regular Schedule
Presidents Day - Regular Schedule
Memorial Day - Regular Schedule
Fourth of July - Regular Schedule
Labor Day - Regular Schedule
Veteran's Day - Regular Schedule
Thanksgiving - Regular Schedule
Christmas Day - Closed, next day pickup if it falls on a Monday-Friday
Weekdays Following Christmas - Next day pickup if pickup was delayed on Christmas
Christmas Tree Collection
Each year the City provides a special program to collect Christmas trees on the curb from the first working day after Christmas till the middle of January. Please see the section on Christmas Tree Recycling to learn about the guidelines for this program.
